So, I finally finished another project. This is Acorn Stitches by Jeannette Douglas Designs. Isn't it lovely? I really enjoyed this project even though I worked on it for over two months. Lately, I have been distracted from my stitching. Jigsaw puzzles have become a new obsession of mine. We were in Target about three weeks ago waiting for the boys to pick out a movie and I saw a Thomas Kinkade Disney puzzle Pinnochio. I loved it. Bought it, took it home and put it together in a few days. Then I was hooked. I now have all 6 of the puzzles in that series (plus a few more).
Fortunately, we had a stitching day at my house yesterday, so now I am back in the groove. I plan on starting Bunny Hop by Country Cottage Needleworks this week. Time to work on some Easter/Spring projects.

A really pretty piece. I used to call my dau ghter the puzzle queen when she was small. Every year I bought her a puzzle. She is 23 now. Your story reminded of that memory.
Congrats on the gorgeous finish Jen. I too am hooked on Jigsaw Puzzles. I haven't done one since last Wednesday. lol I have 4 of the Disney puzzles you mentioned. Now I have to go on a mission and find the other 2.

Thanks for having us over Sunday, and for the delicious birthday gift. Don't give up on stitching for puzzles, though...you have too many projects to get through!
Beautiful, congratulations on such a pretty finish.
What do you do with the puzzles once complete?
That's really a great finish and I love that little acorn button - too cute! Jeannette's designs are always so beautiful - congrats!
Your acorn sampler is gorgeous!
